Field Service

Traditionally field service in the enterprise has been aimed at enabling workers serving customers in the field to access and update key information via both handheld and tablet devices. Wide area communications mean that engineers can access complete customer, product, and service request data, manage schedules, order spare parts, record material, costs/labour, carry our asset management tasks and enter counter readings. Field Engineer – This App provides instant visibility into back office service data and information for managing your service organization across the entire field service chain - from dispatch and work order decision making to parts used and labour costs.  Deliver information to your field technicians when they need it most, on-site with the customer.  Guide field service technicians through best practices so they can focus on customer satisfaction rather than paperwork. Valet parking – Provides the ability to link into a backend system to view outstanding parking requests or for ad-hoc parking. Customer and car details can be captured or looked up via a customer reference number. Details including photos of any existing damage which can be captured along with signatures for proof of delivery. The application provides a ‘park car’ add on application to capture the GPS location of where the car is parked when the customer signs off the drop off. There is also the option for a Windows desktop client to lookup any customer details in the system as well as change return flight times for sending out collection jobs to field workers. Field workers can then pick up the car from the parked location and deliver it to the customer, at which point the pickup and signed off if there has been i.e. no other damage or excess mileage. #F33h  
   
Pest Control – Our application allows a pest control inspector to capture details of any pests found in a property, including the means attempted to remove the pests, materials used and costs of materials, and labour.  On line help can aid the operator calculate volumetric usage rates. A receipt or invoice can be created by printout or email. Details of the inspection are updated on a backend system. Inspectors can lookup past inspections to view the materials used and effectiveness. #F55t
   
Facilities Management - Outsourcing building maintenance cleaning and security tasks have become commonplace. Our FM app allows for specific workflow tasks around key maintenance activities driven by tasks either being fed to the worker on completion of the previous task or set so that the worker requests the next task. Can be used with directly employed staff or sub-contractors.

The Google Map tracking function can help manages effectively track operatives from within the desktop part of the app.

The use of remote printing of receipts photos and GPS help create a quality audit trail and billing cycle without burying the worker or admin staff with extra paperwork. #F71o
